When God Slows You Down: Learning to Trust His Timing

We live in a world obsessed with speed - faster results, bigger goals, and constant motion. But God often teaches us in the slow. Lately, He’s been reminding me that waiting isn’t wasted time - it’s training ground for deeper faith.
When things don’t move as quickly as I’d like, I’ve learned to ask, “What is God developing in me during this delay?” Sometimes it’s patience, sometimes humility, and often it’s the trust to believe He’s working behind the scenes even when I can’t see it.
If we rush ahead of God, we risk missing what He’s preparing for us - or worse, who He’s preparing us to become. His pace is perfect, even when it feels painfully slow.
Maybe God isn’t saying “no” - He’s saying “not yet.” And that pause might just be the most powerful part of your story.
